Julie Bass Kaplan

Julie Bass Kaplan is a Family Nurse Practitioner who began her Medical Aesthetics career in 1999 when she founded Disappearing Act Medical Aesthetics.  Since then, Julie has devoted her career exclusively to aesthetic medicine. 

Julie has a special interest in teaching safe injection techniques.  She is faculty for Palette Resources and a speaker/trainer for Allergan Medical Institute.  She enjoys sitting for various advisory boards and loves learning about new products & techniques.    Julie is a published author for several medical journal articles and loves to speak at various international conventions.  In addition, Julie has a private Patreon community, Jubilant Julie, where she enjoys mentoring injectors of all levels and has a training center, Jubilant Medical Aesthetics where she holds regular Master Classes.  

Julie and her husband Jory founded Jubilant Head & Breakfast anatomy workshops, providing monthly cadaver workshops at Jubilant Medical Aesthetics for 10 people who sleep in their Southern Oregon homes and enjoy home cooked meals for 3.5 days.  Julie loves creating friendships & connections that will hold for years to come with these small group workshops.
