Mel Recchia

25 years as a registered and prescribing nurse, working in Burns and Plastics and Accident and Emergency, with 16 years specialising in Aesthetic medicine, Mel worked as a lead trainer for Cosmetic Courses for 11 years, and is now director and trainer for her own medical aesthetic training company (Athena medical Aesthetics Training with Mel Recchia). Mel also runs her own Aesthetic clinic (Alchemy Aesthetics, Bucks)

Mel is a dedicated and involved member of the Aesthetic community, as Board member for the BACN (British Association of Aesthetic Nurses), advisory board member for Save face, and a regular contributor to conferences and journals. She has previously been a member of the Allergan UK faculty and is currently a regional expert for Teoxane.

Mel is continually updating her own knowledge and works hard to support other practitioners and raise standards of medical aesthetic treatments and training.
