Mr Paul Banwell

Paul Banwell Is a Plastic & Cosmetic Surgeon based in the South East of England. Paul has developed an international reputation in the fields of cosmetic surgery, aesthetic & regenerative medicine, skin health and skin cancer and lectures worldwide on these subjects. He has published over a hundred papers, book chapters and monographs and several books (a recent Amazon best seller in Female Aesthetic Genital Surgery has been widely acclaimed), run a research unit and is a Visiting Professor of Plastic Surgery to Harvard Medical School. He has been listed in the Times Magazine as one of the UK’s Top 100 Doctors and his work recognised by Tatler Magazine. He was also recently a Finalist in the Safety in Beauty Awards for Best Cosmetic Surgeon in the UK.

Paul has pioneered some of the latest concepts in skin health and non-surgical aesthetics and is an expert in cosmeceuticals as well as being the Founder and Director of The Banwell Clinic. Of note he has recently founded the Banwell.Prisk School of Aesthetic Medicine with Nina Prisk focussing on patient safety and high quality bespoke Aesthetics teaching.

He is also the Founder and former Head of The Melanoma and Skin Cancer Unit (MASCU) in East Grinstead, one of the largest skin cancer units in the UK. Paul regularly writes for the trade journals, was on the Editorial Board for Aesthetic Medicine and has judged for all the National UK Cosmetic Medicine Awards & Professional Beauty Awards. As a KOL for several companies in the cosmetic sector he is passionate about safety and maintaining good practice. He is also a favourite with beauty editors and journalists and is regularly quoted in the national press.

Paul is a full member of the British Association of Plastic and Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS), the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS). He was also a founder member of the Safer Cosmetic Surgery Group.

In his leisure time, Paul enjoys surfing, skiing and martial arts and is also passionate about collecting modern art.
